BRIEF CAMP DESCRIPTION: Three Seven's Ranch offers quality leveled horsemanship programs for youth, ages 12-18. The week is full of fun and learning and goes from Sunday evening through Saturday morning. Passing each level requires the rider to pass both a written test and a riding test. The written test might include topics such as horse anatomy, whereas the riding test might include a demonstration of successful flying lead changes, depending on the level of the rider. Interspersed with the learning sessions are games and activities suited to the abilities of the riders.

CAMP FACILITIES: Our facilities include a three-story log lodge, modern bunkhouses, log bedroom cabins, lake nearby for swimming, shooting range, and an indoor arena.
CAMP PROGRAM INFO: The Three Seven’s Ranch is a working ranch and Christian camp designed to help young people develop a good work ethic and strong character, to provide quality horsemanship instruction for both kids and adults, and to offer programs to strengthen the family. The theme "using the outside of a horse to develop the inside of a man" describes much of the ranch program.
Horsemanship Camp Director-Rick Benson: Rick’s varied experiences over the past fifty years make him well-qualified to serve as horsemanship director. For four years, he taught advanced horsemanship, served as the stallion manager, and acted as assistant to the veterinarian teacher at a vocational college. In addition, he taught adult horsemanship at another college for a year and for two years instructed at one-day clinics for the sheriff's department search and rescue workers. For many years, he has been breaking and training horses for individual trainers, at roundpen demonstrations, and for camp programs. At a Christian camp in California and then again at the 777 Ranch in Utah, he has developed a leveled horsemanship program, ranging from beginning to advanced students. Throughout the years, Rick’s primary desire has been the motto of the 777 Ranch—”using the outside of a horse to develop the inside of a man.”
A certificate is given after a rider has passed each level. One-on-one, as well as group, instruction is provided by qualified instructors. Campers are paired with a Three Seven's Ranch horse that is appropriate for their riding skill level. At the completion of the program, graduates are awarded with a silver buckle. The campers will also take part in other activities such as marksmanship, swimming, kayaking, chapel times, crafts, and games. Some spaces for the summer of 2019 are still available. A number of our campers have experienced training trials with professional clubs in Holland. Our programs are designed to help players achieve their maximum potential through progressive exercises that are individually challenging, as well as appropriate to the age and ability of each player.
We fly in our coaches directly from the Netherlands. They are not merely coaches: they are also teachers. Many of our coaches have graduated from a four- year CIOS College. At the Central Institution of Sports, coaches not only received their coaching licenses from the global leader in soccer development: KNVB (Royal Dutch Soccer Federation) but also learn how to work with, encourage and incentivize young athletes. Every camp group will have the same Dutch coach for the entire week. Our coaches will get to know each of the players in their group and can coach them individually, assessing their needs and improving the specific areas best for them.

We believe the best way to learn something is to apply it and as such, all of our opportunities are application-based.
Our bootcamps give students an in-depth opportunity to learn concepts that are normally taught at the university level, while our workshops serve as a fantastic introduction to a new subject. In order to make engineering education more accessible, our digital kits are always free to everyone and allow students to create something awesome. Volunteerships are offered to former students who are looking to volunteer their time and apply what they have learned for social good, as they intern for one of our clients.
Our college preparatory services, which involve subject tutoring, standardized test preparation and college consulting, provide students the resources they need to be ready for college.

River running, hiking, viewing wildlife, and visiting attractions are all a part of these trips.
