CAMP FACILITIES: Residential campers will be housed two (2) per room in the MTSU dormitories. All dorms are located within a short walk of the fields, and cafeterias. Campers are always under supervision of counselors and dormitory personnel.

In addition to our stadium field we also have 5 additional fields that are used for camp and also have access to an indoor soccer arena. All fields are grass and maintained with the same level of expertise as our stadium field.

Campers will have access to one or more of our 5 dining facilities on campus and all are within close proximity to the fields, the campus recreation center, the library, computer labs, and dorms.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: This summer Middle Tennessee State Women’s Soccer will offer day and residential soccer camps for boys and girls of varying ages and skill levels. All our camps are designed to create a positive learning environment in which players can improve their technical skills and tactical abilities. An emphasis is placed on giving individual instruction based on each player’s age, skill level, and experience.

The Rhoden Soccer Academy philosophy is to create an educational, safe, and fun soccer environment that demands decision-making skills on and off the ball. Rhoden Soccer Academy programs are designed to enhance the abilities of the individual player as well as those of the team. Programs are structured so that players will understand how, when, and why to apply their newly acquired technical and tactical knowledge. An overall emphasis is placed on giving individual instruction according to each player’s skill level.

YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: Rhoden Soccer Academy conducts team training and coaches clinics year round.

OTHER CAMP INFO: The strength behind Rhoden Soccer Academy and MTSU Soccer Camps is the knowledge, experience and teaching ability of the camp staff. CAMP FACILITIES: We have 12 large modern cabins with handicap accessible showers and bathrooms within each cabin. Each cabin has air conditioning. The Act Too Players have created several weeklong camps and summer intensives to give your star the best theatrical experience in Middle Tennessee. Every student gets the opportunity to rehearse with the best directors, musical directors, and technical staff. Our goal is to instruct your child on the art of theatre while providing a fun, safe, environment.

We have 2 different types of camps. Our weeklong camps meet from 9am to 3pm from Monday to Friday with a showcase on Friday's. There are several different weeklong camps to choose from including dance camp, one week play, one week musical, Best of Modern Broadway camps, and a camp for ages 3-6 years.

Our other camp is the Summer Intensive where we meet twice a week from 4-7pm and work on mounting a complete production of either Pippin or Seussical the Musical. We will audition, create, and perform a fully mounted production of these shows at the Franklin Theatre.

The Act Too Players have created several weeklong camps and summer intensives to give your star the best theatrical experience in Middle Tennessee. OTHER CAMP INFO: Our weeklong summer camps meet each day from 9:00am until 3:00pm. In camp each day, your child can expect to learn the fundamentals of theatre in a safe and fun environment It is our hope that each week a student learns more than a show or some dance moves but learns a little bit about themselves and how to successfully work with others. Act Too Players will provide a snack and drink during the morning. Lunch will be each day around noon (provided by student). During the lunch hour we will show your child movies that are related to the course. Act Too Players will also provide materials for the classes.

camp STEM believes that students learn best through hands-on experiences and that science learning should be both fun and memorable. Activities will be tailored to individual needs in small groups. Why camp STEM?

camp STEM provides offerings that are carefully designed to provide hands -on impact in influencing children’s attitude toward science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Kids want to have fun in the summer. We have integrated science and math with many fun and inspiring activities. Our approach allows children to investigate a STEM project while learning the underlying scientific concepts that keep them engaged.

We break the monotony of doing STEM projects all day.

What ages are the camps designed for?
Our camps are designed for rising kindergartners to sixth graders.

Are different aged children in the same camp?
Our camps are divided by grade. Camps are divided by grade K-2, 3-4, and 5-6.

Who are the camp STEM instructors?
camp STEM instructors are certified teachers on summer break. All of our instructors have experience working with elementary-aged children, and receive camp STEM specific training. The main characteristic of our instructors is that they all share a love of STEM to spark campers’ imaginations.

How do I register my child for a camp?
Depending on the location of the camp, you can register by mail, over the phone, in person, or online. On occasion, we provide on site registration assistance to our partner-hosted camps.

Note: Registration requirements, start dates, end dates, and minimum camp size may vary by location. Transportation to and the from the camp is not included.

How soon do I need to register to reserve a space for my child?
Some camps and dates fill very quickly, while some may have spaces available up to the start date. We recommend that you register as soon as possible.

What is your refund policy?
camp STEM (i.e. our online registration system, phone-in, mail), cancellations are accepted up to two weeks (14 business days) before camp starts. A 50% fee ($75.00) will apply if cancellation is not tendered beforehand.

Can I sign my child up for more than one camp?
Yes, in fact, we totally encourage it. Each camp STEM offered is completely different so your child can enjoy them all without repeating similar activities.

What is the fee for camp STEM?
All fees are $150.00. The fee covers daily snacks, lunches, and all field trips. Transportation to and from the camp is not included.

When is camp STEM offered?
camp STEM is offered every week in June to accommodate busy summer schedule’s.

SUMMER CAMP JOBS:
Volunteer as a camp STEM helper or chaperone. camp STEM welcomes families of all campers, retirees, college students, high school juniors and seniors, and community partners who support STEM. You can volunteer as a chaperone on weekly field trips or a helper at the weekly camp. You can also assist with coordinating lunch, or providing supplies and other assistance to classrooms.

CAMP FACILITIES: We have 15 modern camper campers and modern, well-equipped staff cabins along. A brand new, state-of-the-art, air conditioned gym, high ropes course, dining hall, canteen for snacks and games and a private lake for swimming and tubing round out the Flip Fest facilities.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Flip Fest at Lake Frances is getting ready for its 13th year of operation. In June of 2006 we moved the camp from its original location in Knoxville to its new permanent home, one-hour west, on 150 beautifully wooded acres in Crossville, Tennessee. Small creeks and natural springs feed Lake Frances, a 32-acre private lake on the property, making Flip Fest one of the most picturesque camps in the country. Flip Fest is the only summer camp owned and operated by two Olympians John Macready and John Roethlisberger. Camp Counselor:
Camp Counselor positions are for individuals ages 18-25 yrs. old who love to work with children. We look for counselors with high energy, enthusiasm and a desire to make camp an unforgettable experience, while ensuring camper safety. A hard-working demeanor and willing attitude to jump into any camp activity are a must. Counselors get to enjoy staying in a cabin with 10-16 campers throughout the week. A weekly paycheck along with the benefit of room and board are provided by Flip Fest. Although this is a gymnastics camp, non-gymnasts are welcome to apply for counseling positions. Previous work with children is not required, but looked highly upon. There are 4 blocks (each 3 weeks long) of counseling positions available. Weekend Camp Counselor:
Weekend Counselor positions are for individuals 18-25 years old who love to work with children. We look for counselors with high energy, enthusiasm and a desire to make camp an unforgettable experience, while ensuring camper safety. Weekend Counselors get to enjoy staying in a cabin with campers that are staying for multiple sessions of camp, with the benefit of room and board provided by Flip Fest. Weekend Counselors are on duty from Friday 12:00pm - Sunday 12:00pm. Together two to three Weekend Counselors organize games for the kids to provide entertainment and safety throughout the weekend. Ropes Course Staff:
For individuals ages 18 and up interested in getting trained to take the campers through the ropes course in the pine forest. No previous experience in necessary, but a plus! CAMP FACILITIES: We are located on the Cumberland River on the Stewart, Montgomery county line. The historical farm house of Maj. Thomas W. Lewis will be the “home away from home”. During the rest of the year it is Lylewood Inn Bed & Breakfast, owned by Mandy Williams. It has 5 bedrooms and one cottage. Children will share rooms and be attended by counselors and monitors. All linens and meals will be provided. Unlike most camps, they will be staying in a home, and learning to work together as a family to accomplish daily chores on the farm.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Mandy’s true passion in life is to watch children grow, learn and reach their full potential in life. She has a unique gift in reaching out to children helping them discover new concepts from a different era. Having spent 30 years doing youth camps, youth ministries and rearing of children she is looking very forward to sharing these ideas and concepts with each camper personally at our Live & Learn Camps. She enjoys cooking, quilting and all forms of country living.

Arlene’s business experience from 20 years at Vanderbilt University in the IT field is crucial in the day to day operations of our camps. She was the Den Leader for both her sons Scout Dens and with the summer Bible School programs. She understands and sees that children need to be independent and self-sufficient. She enjoys crafting, scrapbooking, and family genealogy.

Audrey is a 25 year old college graduate working at the YMCA Child Care Program. She had worked for the YMCA Summer Camp Program, where the children lovingly named her “Ralph”. She is CPR, First Aid and lifeguard certified. She has been a camp councilor at Lylewood Christian Camp since she was 16 years old. Audrey has the ability to relate to children in a way that makes her an instant leader. She enjoys baking, quilting and sewing.

Lara is a 19 year old college student CPR Certified, First-Aid and AED. She has worked at the Lylewood Christian Camp. She enjoys cooking, canning and has a vast experience in gardening. Lara was raised on a farm and has taken care of an animal or two in her day. She loves working with children and has a passion for all crafts.

Autumn is a 20 year old student at Dalton State College from Adairsville, GA. She is currently majoring in Argi-Business. She loves the farm life and enjoys fishing, being outside, sightseeing and helping others. She is CPR trained. Autumn leads a Wednesday night bible class for girls in first through fifth grade at her local church.

FAMILY CAMP SESSION(S): The formal banquet gives the girls the opportunity to shine with pride while serving dinner to their families. Their accomplishments will be displayed and honored during the awards ceremony.

CAMP FACILITIES: We have two completely seperate camp facilities, Junior Camp and Senior Camp located on opposite sides of our lake. There are cabins with screen doors and windows, central bathhouse, dining hall, open air pavilions, climbing wall, zip line, horse barns, games fields, swimming docks and boating areas.

CAMP FACILITIES: Deer Run has 12 Cedar Point cabins and 2 Lakeview Cabins — all equipped with heat and air — and 2 shower houses. CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Rolling Hills Farm is dedicated to Teaching there students how to properly ride a horse for a full week of riding during our week of riding and fun activities. CAMP FACILITIES: The Graceland Performing Arts Camp is for the entire family and hotel accommodations are at AAA-rated Four Diamond luxury resort The Guest House at Graceland, which includes outdoor pool and a theater.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: The camp is an immersive theater arts and music experience for both experienced and novice performers. Graceland Performing Arts Camp participants will learn from local and Broadway professionals as they explore their creativity in workshops on acting, singing and dancing at the Graceland Soundstage and on stage at The Guest House at Graceland Theater. We will talk about composition and color theory, then put our new knowledge to the test by creating mixed media sculptures. From Australian dot paintings to Chinese fans, we will travel around the world learning about cultures and how they express their creativity. Track your exploration in your art journal as you explore history and culture through art. Join us to create some exciting and colorful art projects that are inspired by the big top! A great characteristic of an excellent artist is being well rounded in the knowledge of different mediums. Storyteller's Camp: 11-16
In this camp, we will be diving deep into our creative imagination to tell a story through pictures. We will be creating characters that come alive through story and visual depictions of their surroundings. Students will create their heroes’ story by answering questions about each hero’s strengths and weaknesses, their friends and nemeses, and ultimately, their life’s greatest quest. Through drawing lessons, storyboarding, scenery design and watercolor paintings, we will have a character and their story come alive before our eyes like a movie.

Impressionists on the Move: 11-16
This summer camp will consist of delightfully colorful projects with inspiration from many Impressionist greats including Monet, Van Gogh, Renoir, Cezanne and more. Students will also be ready to create on the move with their personally decorated pochade paint boxes, just like true plein air impressionist painters. We’ll learn how to use them by painting subjects outdoors “en plein air”. All the projects they take home from this camp will be colorful keepsakes.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Tennessee Teens Rock Camp (TNTRC) is a summer day camp for girls and boys ages 10-17. TNTRC's provides a conservatory style learning atmosphere in which students are immersed for one week in the art form of music and for 11 years has provided unique music programming that is accessible and engaging for young people because of its emphasis on popular music.

Students participate in instrument instruction (guitar, bass, drums, keyboards, vocals, etc.), music industry workshops (songwriting, recording technology, photography, etc.), ensemble practice and guest artist performances. As the primary program of the camp, students form a band and learn in an ensemble setting using popular music to build music fundamentals. Students are taught how to play instruments, work together in a band, write original songs and market their bands.

At the end of the camp, the students have the opportunity to perform what they have learned during a showcase for their peers and community members.

• A small ensemble—which will co-create, rehearse, and premiere new work(s) by the student participants
• A small home group—which will feature games and social activities
• (Optional) Two, hour-long private composition les- sons—which will give students professional feedback on their music and personalized instruction
• A final, virtual concert—on Friday, July 31, 2 PM EDT

• Desktop or laptop computer (Mac preferred)
• A separate device to record audio/video (such as a tablet or smartphone)
• Headphones or earbuds
• An external microphone and audio interface would provide a better experience, but are not mandatory
• All enrolled students will receive a FREE, 90-day license for Dorico Pro 3.5
